- A-Number (Alien Registration Number)

During an active SOS event, we collect:
- precise real-time location
Location data is used to generate emergency alerts and is:
- shared with selected contacts via a secure link
- updated periodically during an active SOS session
- stopped when the user manually ends SOS or after a defined period
Location is collected only during active SOS events.
2.3 Emergency Contacts
We collect only contacts that you manually add:
- name
- phone number or email address
We do NOT access or store your full device contact list.
2.4 Communication Data
When you use communication features, we may process:
- phone numbers of your selected emergency contacts
- message delivery status
Messages sent through the Service may include:
- a short alert notification
- a link to a secure webpage
This secure webpage may contain user-provided information such as:
- name
- A-Number
- timestamp
- current or recent location
We only use contact information that you manually provide.
2.5 Diagnostic and Technical Data
We collect limited technical information for stability and security, including:
- crash reports
- performance data
- system logs
Logs may include:
- user ID
- IP address
This data is used only for system reliability, security, and abuse prevention.
3. How We Use Your Information

4. SMS Communication and Consent
By using communication features, you agree that Iceberg SOS may send messages to your selected emergency contacts on your behalf.
These messages are sent only when you manually:
- activate an SOS event, or
- perform a test alert
Messages typically contain a short alert and a link to a secure webpage with additional information.
You are responsible for ensuring that your emergency contacts have agreed to receive such messages.
The Service does not independently verify recipient consent.
Recipients may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP.
5. Data Sharing
We may share your data with:
- your selected emergency contacts (via secure links during SOS events)
- telecommunication providers (for message delivery)
- infrastructure providers (hosting, databases, diagnostics)
- Apple (for subscription processing)
We do NOT share personal data with advertisers or marketing platforms.
6. Data Storage and Security
- Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure
- Sensitive data is accessible via secure links generated during SOS events
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Access is restricted to authorized personnel

Personal data is stored while your account is active.
You may delete your account at any time.
Upon deletion:
- personal data is permanently removed from active systems

Account deletion permanently removes your personal data from our systems.
9. Subscriptions
Paid features are provided via Apple In-App Purchases.
Billing, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple.
